Project Overview
As part of a team project, I helped produce a published episode of Can You Hear Us Now: Inclusivity in the Media, a podcast run by my university. The episode explored the experience of navigating college as a first-generation student through a guest interview, combining collaborative interview development, live conversation, and post-production to create a finished episode for the podcast’s public audience.
My Contributions
Co-developed and conducted the guest interview: Collaborated with team members to develop interview questions and participated in conducting the interview, leading the opening portion before transitioning the conversation to other team members.
Coordinated guest participation: Identified and secured the episode’s interviewee, helping coordinate the guest component needed to develop the episode around a first-generation college experience.
Produced the final published episode: Edited the team’s recorded interview into the finished podcast episode, bringing together the different interview sections into a cohesive production for publication on the university podcast.
