Academic Project · Individual · Graduate · Summer 2026
Project Overview
I evaluated Open Farm's ethical brand claims and translated my findings into a consumer-facing infographic designed to communicate the company's approach to responsible pet food production. The project combined ethical reasoning, brand research, and visual communication to make evidence about sourcing, animal welfare, and sustainability accessible to consumers
My Contributions
Evaluated Open Farm’s ethical brand claims: Researched Open Farm's ingredient sourcing, animal welfare standards, sustainability initiatives, and published reporting to evaluate whether its practices supported its public ethical claims.
Synthesized research for a consumer audience: Selected and synthesized information most relevant to consumers, applying an ethical reasoning framework to communicate the relationship between the company's practices and brand values.
Translated research into visual communication: Designed the infographic in Adobe Illustrator and Procreate, using agricultural imagery and brand-aligned visual elements to reinforce Open Farm's positioning around quality, responsible sourcing, and sustainability.
